Toe Overlap
Loss of toes’ alignment, often as a result of a bunion, often leads to the phenomenon of the the big toe deviating inward toward the other toes and even overlapping the second, creating extremely painful conditions when walking, which are exacerbated by increased pressure and friction.

A Bunion or, according to scientific terminology, Hallux Valgus, is a deformity that begins at the base of the great toe, in the metatarsophalangeal joint, which in turn results to the enlargement of the first metatarsal head. This enlargement of the joint’s head results in the gradual displacement of the big toe, which gradually loses its alignment and deviates inward toward the other toes, even at a point of toe overlap.

Podia’s Extra-Comfort Gel-Ring and Spreader is specially designed to be worn simply and comfortably on the big toe, combining the comfort and stability of specially designed gel ring with the softness and effectiveness of the gel spreader.

Apply the Extra-Comfort Gel-Ring and Spreader around the great toe, so that the spacer is placed in the area between the great and the second toe.
Then, put on your socks, as always, and check the position of the Gel-Ring and Spreader again. if necessary, we readjust to ensure the perfect fit.
After use, the Bunion Total Relief Protector & Separator should be handwashed regularly using lukewarm water and mild soap. Air-dry the product, at room temperature, before reusing. For an even more comfortable fit, sprinkle with talcum powder, before use!
