Calluses and hard skin
The formation of calluses and hardened skin is a natural response of the skin to repeated pressure and friction. On the feet, they most commonly appear on the metatarsal area, heel and toes, while on the hands they are mainly found on the palms or areas exposed to repeated friction. Continuous mechanical stress leads to thickening of the stratum corneum (hyperkeratosis), which over time becomes hard, dry and often painful.

Usage & Application
